Combinatorial Game and Number Triangle

By considering a triangular array of numbers for first six rows, we introduce a combinatorial game, whose solution depends on a number triangle. The conclusion brings us with a surprising consequence in deciding the result of the game. This paper analyzes the game and present the solution in detail using the number triangle which resembles the famous Leibniz Triangle of unit fractions

Effect of labour flexibility on productivity in the andalusian hotel industry

In this work, we analyze the effect of labour flexibility on productivity in the Andalusian hotel industry. For this purpose, we use the data obtained by the Quality, Productivity and Competitiveness in the Hospitality Industry for Andalusia project (PO7/SEJ-02889). Using a expanded version of the Cobb-Douglas production function, the model distinguishes two employment shares: full-time permanent (standard work) and temporary plus part-time employees (non-standard work). Our results indicate that productivity in Andalusian hotels is lower the higher the percentage of temporary and part-time workers. Furthermore, there are no statistically significant differences between the negative impact on productivity of both types of labour contract. However, since the costs associated with both temporary and part-time workers are lower than those of workers with full-time permanent contracts, future studies should analyze the differential impact of all the types of contracts discussed on the mean cost per employee in hotels.Universidad de Málaga. Teaching Style in Physical Education and Changes of Daily Physical Activity after One Academic Year in Adolescents: GEOS Study

Increased Moderate-Vigorous physical activity (MVPA) and reduced sedentary time (ST) are key factors for a healthy lifestyle during childhood and adolescence. Studies have suggested that schools may be effective resources to promote healthy habits (Sallis, McKenzie et al. 2012). Therefore, in PE, is important to assess how teachers use strategies and provide students tools to engage in PA with the purpose of reduce the risk of sedentary behavior and contribute to promotion MVPA habits for a healthy lifestyle (Lonsdale, C. et al., 2013). Many factors may be involved in the successful PE class to promote healthy out-school behaviors, as teaching styles (TS), learning styles, learning time, motivation and so on (Mosston, M. 1966). Regarding TS, there is a lack of knowledge about influence of the teaching style (TS) in the promotion of daily MVPA. Retroalimentación del proceso de enseñanza basado en evaluación temprana

La deserción estudiantil ha sido un tema de mucha relevancia en las instituciones educativas, por ello se han llevado a cabo diversos estudios en busca de los factores que la generan y las posibles soluciones que la puedan reducir. Uno de los mecanismos que se ha implementado en las universidades para combatir la deserción estudiantil son las evaluaciones docentes, las cuales buscan la opinión que tienen los estudiantes respecto a los docentes que dictaron sus materias durante el semestre. Una vez analizada esta información, se le da a conocer al docente para que así pueda conocer tanto los aspectos negativos como los aspectos positivos identificados por sus alumnos, todo esto con el objetivo de que el docente pueda mejorar su metodología de enseñanza para que el estudiante se sienta más cómodo y así evitar una posible deserción. Con este proyecto se pretende implementar una evaluación docente alternativa, con la cual se realice una retroalimentación docente en las primeras semanas de clase para que los docentes tengan tiempo de corregir acciones identificadas y señaladas por sus alumnos con el objetivo de reducir los indicadores de deserción estudiantil en los diferentes grupos en los cuales se aplique este mecanismo

Efectos del FONSET y FONSECON en la seguridad y convivencia ciudadana

El objetivo del presente documento es establecer cuáles son los efectos del gasto de los fondos colombianos para la seguridad y convivencia ciudadana FONSET y FONSECON, sobre el objeto de su inversión. Para ellos se realizó un análisis de caracterización de la seguridad y convivencia ciudadana, y de los instrumentos financieros, y se desarrolló una estrategia cuantitativa a partir de datos panel a nivel departamental para el periodo 2008-2013, instrumentando por las posibles fuentes de endogenidad en el modelo. Los resultados de la estimación arrojaron que el FONSET tiene efecto sobre la seguridad y convivencia ciudadana, actuando a través de la fuerza pública, en particular, la Policía Nacional. Por lo tanto, el valor que incide es aquel que se transfiere directa o indirectamente al número de oficiales de policía, lo que indica que otros instrumentos no se han podido consolidar, como formas de apalancar programas más integrales de seguridad y convivencia ciudadana. No obstante, es importante destacar que, en promedio, en el 56% de los municipios del país, los ingresos del FONSET no han sido gastados en su totalidad en lo ordenado por ley.Abstract. The purpose of this document is to establish the effect of the spending of the funds for Citizen Security and Coexistence FONSET and FONSECON in Colombia. For this was performed a characterization analysis regarding citizen security and coexistence, and financial instruments, and a quantitative strategy developed from departmental level using panel data for 2008-2013, implementing the possible sources of endogeneity in the model. The estimation results showed that FONSET have effect on security and peaceful coexistence, and only act through the National Police. Therefore, the value is one that affects directly or indirectly transferred to the number of police officers, since the instruments have not been able to consolidate as ways to leverage more comprehensive programs of citizen security and coexistence. Neverthless, it is important to highlight that 56 per cent of the municipalities in the country have not spent the total income of FONSET tax in accordance with the law.Maestrí

Expresión corporal: el cuerpo lúdico hedonista

Este documento corresponde al Trabajo de Fin de Grado realizado en el Grado de Educación Primaria, concretamente enfocado a la Mención de Educación Física. A lo largo del proceso de investigación, con la indagación de la “Expresión Corporal: El cuerpo Lúdico Hedonista" se analizarán diferentes elementos como el disfrute corporal, a través de la lúdica en Expresión Corporal, a partir de este marco teórico. Una vez finalizada la unidad didáctica, se analizó factores como la capacidad sentimental y emocional de los estudiantes, el grado de inhibición, reacciones, comportamientos, entre otras, durante las diferentes situaciones vividas. A partir de los resultados obtenidos se analiza la relación entre estos factores anteriores y las diferentes variables como el género, experiencias, emociones, el disfrute corporal, etc.This document corresponds to the End of Degree Project carried out in the Degree of Primary Education, specifically focused on the Mention of Physical Education. Throughout the research process, with the investigation of "Body Expression: The Hedonist Playful Body", different elements such as bodily enjoyment will be analyzed, through the play in Body Expression, from this theoretical framework. Once completed in the didactic unit, factors such as the sentimental and emotional capacity of the students, the degree of inhibition, reactions, behaviors, among others, were analyzed during the different situations experienced. Projecte constructiu d’urbanització entre els carrers Pintor Sert i avinguda Primer de Maig a la Llagosta

Al Vallès Oriental, tot just al seu límit amb el Vallès Occidental, es troba el municipi de La Llagosta. Es tracta de un nucli urbà de uns 3 kilòmetres quadrats de superfície, i uns 16.000 habitants, que es troba limitat territorialment pels municipis veïns. Al nord de La Llagosta ens trobem amb el terme municipal de Santa Perpetua de la Mogoda, concretament amb el barri de La Florida. Al Est tenim el poble de Mollet del Vallès, separat per la línia ferroviària Mollet-El Papiol . Al Oest ens trobem amb el terme municipal de Montcada i Reixach, separat per la Riera Seca, que pertany a La Llagosta. Al Sud limita amb el Terme Municipal de Sant Fost de Campsentelles, on ens trobem amb el riu Besòs i l’autovia C17.Previ a la redacció del present projecte d’urbanització, tenim el pla Urbanístic de La Llagosta, i d’acord amb la llei d’urbanisme de Catalunya, es procedeix a la redacció del projecte de urbanització de la zona entre els carrers 1er de Maig i Pintor Sert al costat de la plaça Pedro 4º. Degut a la absència de terreny provocada per la limitació del municipi amb els veïns, s’ha escollit aquesta zona per l’execució.L’objecte del present projecte és la realització d’urbanitzar el sector conegut com a Can Xiquet, a La Llagosta, per a la futura creació d’una nova zona residencial dins del municipi.A grans trets l’actuació contempla totes aquelles obres necessàries (tret de l’edificació) per el desenvolupament de la zona.
